MY 2020 READING CHALLENGES
INTRODUCTION POST

ANNUAL END OF YEAR BOOK SURVEY
2019 READING WRAP-UP

As you can see my previously monthy wrap-up is now bi-monthly. It wasn't worth all the work for about 50 views. When I first started doing a wrap-up post it was weekly and I received around 150 views. Then that dropped to around 80, so I started posting every two weeks and then when that also dropped in views, I went to once a month. This held around 100 views for quite a while and then slipped to 80 views for about a year, but 50, eh... my Sunday Chats get around 225 hits, so I'd rather do those. They are less time consuming to draft, too.
I was getting the urge to mess around with my blog graphics and theme, but I managed to stop myself at changing the link colors. Hah! I've changed them a couple of times in the last week, or so, and it's been fun so I think I will hold myself there and just play around with those once a week. Ooops... I may have just tightened up the margins a bit. Does it make things easier to read?
I debuted one of my new features BLOGGY BLAUGH last month and it was a hit, so expect more of this blogging related feature.
After I post my review of Marie Kondo's book THE LIFE-CHANGING MAGIC OF TIDYING UP: The Japanese Art of Decluttering and Organizing, I am going to be doing a series of posts about why her method doesn't "work for everyone" like she says, and that you won't necessarily be a failure if you don't use her method. If anyone has an idea for a catchy name for this series, let me know your ideas in the comments. All I have come up with so far is "I Can't Kondo".

I was going to whine about being very ill from Thanksgiving until the second week in February, but someone in our local music community's six month old baby was recently diagnosed with a rare form of liver cancer, an old blogging buddy's mother died unexpectedly, and I found out yesterday that one of my college pals is having open heart surgery on Monday, so I'm not going to complain. I did have a small heart episode, but I am going to wait to talk about it in my next The Well Witch post. Anyway... I'm still trying to catch up with all things blogging like blog hopping and commenting, and Instagram, so brace yourselves for some comment vomiting and comments on some of your older blog posts!

I cannot believe Rachel started her guitar playing journey four years ago already! I think I stumbled upon her YouTube channel a couple of months before her second anniversary video. Not only does she inspire people to pick up a new instrument at an older age, she has been a super motivator for me to get off my duff and practice more. I am supporting her on Patreon now. Her channel has turned into a huge success and I get to say, "I knew her when..."

I have only had the original so far, but I can eat cereal again! Even before I started trying to go vegan as much as possible, because I am lactose intolerant, a glass of milk or milk on cereal was most assuredly not in my best interests. Heh. It tastes a bit like cereal milk to begin with, so it's fabulous. I tried drinking a glass with a cookie, but it's a tad watery for that. I think if you already drink fat-free, or one percent milk, you won't notice a difference. I had tried rice milk on cereal before and it just didn't cut it. I'm hoping my Wegmans gets the extra creamy in stock because I would love to try it!
Sunshine, we've had sunshine! We've finally gotten some days of full sun, and every few days it's been warm enough to open the windows. It's been like heaven!
