TELL ME TUESDAY #54

TELL ME TUESDAY is a feature that oozed from my post Twitter party fried-brains. It is a weekly, or bi-weekly feature (depending on your reading style), where you tell us what you are reading now, and why, and what you will be reading in the future from your tbr pile, and why. I am oh so curious why people read what they read. So tell me!

READING SLUMP

I try to choose a book to read and I feel like this...

So what did I do instead?

I WENT TO EDELWEISS AND REQUESTED A MILLION BILLION ARCS!

And I was doing so well controlling myself this year.

What are you reading? Tell me!

  2. Oh I hate a reading slump and I've been known to go on a requesting spree out of desperation! Hope you break out of it soon. I've been doing a little old favorite reading and have picked up one of the last books in Jill Shalvis' Lucky Harbor series that I haven't read.

    1. Old favorite reading sounds great. I really need to get to the library. I want to read the last two A Wrinkle in Time saga books that were written after I had stopped looking for more in the 90s. Maybe that would get me out of my slump.

  3. I get reading slumps quite frequently, but especially in winter...and there is no cure for it unfortunately. I buy books, request books, etc...but my brain is still like NOPE...

    1. I had such a frustratingly awful time with The Wolf Wilder that my brain just turned on all books!

  4. I'm feeling a little reading ennui myself. I just finished a really good book actually called "I Shall Be Near To You" but it was so sad at the end and now I don't want to read anything. Haha

    1. I am a little bit better about sad ending books than I am with "make me angry" titles, but not much. They both burn my brain! :P
