THE SUNDAY POST #22

THE SUNDAY POST is a weekly feature hosted by Kimba at the Caffinated Book Reviewer. It is a chance to recap the previous week, share news, showcase books and/or bookish things we have received, and tell about what is coming up on our blog in the next week. You can view the guidelines, HERE.

THIS LAST WEEK

I am still slumping, so I did a little information post about the feature, and thanked my three regular feature followers.

Strange covers and titles.

 FAIRYTALE RETELLINGS

Where I figured out I have only read five retellings!

SOMETIMES SATURDAY

FRIENDSHIP

One of my favorite authors wants to read my story and asked for my Wattpad link!

I am cutting this post short because my son was supposed to be home from out-of-town six hours before he got home, and some how his cell got shut off and it kept saying he was "unreachable"; I thought he had been in an accident or something, so my mind is too scattered to function right now.

He is fine.

    1. He found out he didn't have to be to work until 3:30 pm today, so he went to his buddy's house after they got back. He turned his cell off in the car and forgot to check for missed calls when he got back. I told him it didn't matter because he should have called the minute he got back. Grrrr.

  2. I hope all is well with your son and it's just a cellphone issue.

    Hope things improve this week.

    1. He is fine, but a bit too absent minded for his age, 23. He said calling home, when he got back to his friends house and deciding to hang out, never entered his mind.

    1. Yes, all is fine. Ha ha, he took my high about the author's comment to the cleaners by not calling!

  4. Our kids will always be our babies and always give us gray hairs. I'm glad he's okay. Dang cell phones! LOL

    1. To bad they don't fully understand that until they have children of their own!

  6. If you've read 5 retellings you're doing better than me! I think I've only read 2! I'm hoping to change that though. Hopefully you hear from your son soon. I can imagine you're in heart attack mode right now!

    1. He is fine, just absent minded. I know this, but it never helps when it is happening. Lol. I have four or five retellings on my Kindle, so I hope to remedy that short fall. :)
