THE MONTHLY MASH - December 2016 + GIVEAWAY

READING HIGHLIGHTS
STACKING THE SHELVES #6
GIVEAWAY

This is my books only monthly highlights post. I will also be linking up with STACKING THE SHELVES, hosted by Tynga's Reviews, every first Saturday of the month.

I read 10 books in December and hit my Goodreads Challenge goal of 74 books! It was 40 books less than 2015, but I had more social activities going on in 2016.
You can check it out: HERE.

BOUGHT EBOOKS
I nabbed two more Octavia Butler titles for my e-collection in a $3.98 bundle.

This has been on my to-read list since high school, ha ha. It was a $1.99 daily special and I couldn't resist.

This is the third book in the JACKABY TRILOGY. I have them all as ebooks now. I thought it was the last book, but I saw a fourth title listed on Goodreads just now, so my binge read will have to wait. It was on special, so I scooped it up.

GALAPAGOS
MOTHER NIGHT
WELCOME TO THE MONKEY HOUSE
I picked up four more books for my Vonnegut Read-A-Thon next November. I am a little worried though because I just saw that someone complained about the formatting on these Rosetta titles. I think I have eight Vonnegut's from Rosetta. I had better take a look before I buy any more.

Although the Goodreads page says the Kindle book is $1.99 there is also a 99¢ version, and I found mine for for 49¢. I was excited to see this because I had not a clue it existed!

And yet another Vonnegut for my November read-a-thon!

This is a YA set in Vietnam era California. I was surprised it was 99¢ because it's a relatively new 2016 publication.

The third book in my favorite vampire series just came out. I am so excited!

This was a $1.99 special, but it is not any longer.

This is a bundle of all three stories and it was still only $1.99 at the time of this posting!

This was still $1.99 when I posted.
AMAZON LINK
I am giving you the Amazon link because it is free right now. Please check the price before you purchase, though. This is the author of INKHEART'S new trilogy. *I don't know what the wonky Blogger spacing is all about

I had an ARC, but I bought the ebook for a re-read before I wrote my review. There is a GIVEAWAY for a signed paperback on my review. The Kindle edition is only $5.99 with $1.99 added narration right now!

WON
I won this personalized softcover from the author. She had a holiday giveaway for her Shadow League team members. I was over the moon with joy because not only is this one of my all time favorite fairytale retellings, I think it just might be my favorite cover art of all time, too!

I won an ebook of this Apocalyptic anthology of short stories with disabled characters on author Intisar Khanani's author page. I am participating in a read-a-long on her page.

I won an ecopy on Laura's blog FUONLYKNEW. She is the queen of finding books with, oh, lets say... esoteric titles. Ha ha! Laura loved it so I am excited to read it.
◼ ◼ ◼
I also won a book order from Book Depository, but we have had about zero sunshine lately so that photo will have to wait until next time.
The same with my latest Book Outlet order. The pics will have to wait for my February post.
The "How To Be Happy" pillow on the post header is from the PAPER FURY Society6 shop.

I will be doing this every month. There might be some swag in the future, too.
