TELL ME TUESDAY #84

TELL ME TUESDAY is a floating feature, depending on your reading style, where you tell us what you read last, what you are reading now, what you will be reading in the future from your tbr pile, and why. I am oh so curious why people read what they read. So tell me!
Joining us this week...
Pili from IN LOVE WITH HANDMADE
and
Shannon from REX ROBOT REVIEWS
Go have a peek at their latest grabs and tell them yours!

LAST
I am not exactly finished with this book yet, but I am so close to the end nothing will waver my rating more than half a star, so I am going to predict with the utmost confidence that this will be a three star read for me, but wobbling so close to the edge that a weak or wonky ending will tip it to 2.5 stars. This story was all over the place on many levels. However, I did like the storyline and seeing this is a debut author I will definitely read the sequel. It counts towards my COYER, Rock My TBR, and NG/EW challenges.

NOW
I will be starting this Middle Grade from Netgalley tonight. I love the cover! I am also going to kick into gear with my buddy read of THORN with Pili. I kind of stalled out at 42% because of my struggles with The Girl From Everywhere.

NEXT
Another Middle Grade, this time from Edelweiss. It is based on the real life childhood friendship of Harper Lee and Truman Capote.
What are you reading? Tell me!

    1. There were too many continuity problems for me and wild extremes in her writing style. I will read the sequel though. :)

  3. Tru and Nelle sounds really wonderful. Their friendship has always interested me because in some ways they seem so incredibly different. That's too bad about Girl From Everywhere. The blurb hadn't really grabbed me but it is a bit disappointing when a book doesn't quite come together for you.

    1. It is even worse when the storyline is fresh. It seems to me that authors and publishers are taking less and less time on their books. Quantity over quality and it is very disheartening. I only learned of the Harper Lee - Truman Capote friendship last year and was thrilled when I saw the book. :)

    1. I will friend you. I need to get Miss Peregrine's read too. It, and the sequel, have been sitting on my shelf for too long. :)

  5. The Charlie Price book has the cutest cover!

I am currently reading three books, Golden Son by Pierce Brown, Glass Sword by Victoria Aveyard and a book called Sushi and Donuts about a guy who cycles across Japan, all very good!
