This is the biggest my Twitter following has been since the great tumble in November of 2016 when I became an angry political tweeter for about six months. I went from nearly 1,800 to less than 800 followers in those six months and it's taken two and a half years to get 400 back! So... if you used to follow me and stopped because of political tweets, COME ON BACK because I don't do that anymore.
I don't have much of anything nice to say about June, or this first week of July for that matter. It got hot and horribly humid, my leg problems have come back full force, my landlord (who unfortunately lives downstairs) was going through a manic phase and that gets pretty scary for me. I get panicky because he can get very angry. I think he had his apartment rewired so he could have an air conditioner. They had the electricity off for hours on two of the hottest days yet. I got ripped off on Amazon again and for some reason my Better World Books order will not progress from the shipping address page and they can't figure out why. I lost three foreign language Harry Potter books I found for very reasonable prices; that I probably will never find again. And speaking of Harry Potter, according to Twitter if you read Harry Potter you're transphobic. I'm worried about Grace from Rebel Mommy Book Blog. It's been almost a week since anyone has heard from her. Please, if anyone hears anything, let me know.
HOWEVER
I am thankful for my son for helping me with ice packs, making coffee, and re-pillowing my legs. And even though he can get in his grumpy moods he has managed to stay pleasant and helpful, so far. He has also offered to give the landlord his cellphone number so I don't have to deal with him anymore. Hooray!
I always thought this looked like a hobbit church. Ha ha. They used to have a meditation maze in the basement when I was in college. I wonder if they still have it? I might need to check that out.
