GOODREADS
I am reading a Netgalley ARC of Cogling. It is a YA steampunkish fairytale about a clockwork boy changling.  I was loving it and I was about 20% in, so I thought it was safe to read the synopsis. NOT! It gave a HUGE SPOILER! So now, although the story is written wonderfully, I am lukewarm reading it. If you plan on reading this book, and you should, DO NOT READ THE SYNOPSIS!

I am buddy reading this with Pili from IN LOVE WITH HANDMADE. It's Adult Fantasy/SciFi/Psychedelia. It is deep, dense, and daunting. Octavia, from READ.SLEEP.REPEAT., sent me the physical ARC she recieved about two years ago. I started reading it a little while later, but after 60 pages I needed a brain break. Ha ha! I re-read the beginning, and it was a much faster read the second time through, but once I hit the new pages I started slowing way down again. It is going to be a book that needs to be powered through, thought about, and then reread for full impact. We are buddy reading this for our ROCK MY TBR CHALLENGE.

This pubs February 2nd. First of all the Edelweiss page had no synopsis, so I had no clue it was a YA Western Fantasy. I hate Westerns. Oh well, at least it is Fantasy.
