I have read the first book six times. The last book I have only read once.La La in the Libraryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18253014225202985934noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1724983676382927825.post-84491684877560575672016-01-26T17:02:48.790-05:002016-01-26T17:02:48.790-05:00I got a little chuckle out of your dismay of disco...I got a little chuckle out of your dismay of discovering your book was a western. It reminded me of Fred Savage's reaction in The Princess Bride..."Is this a kissing book?" I hope you can still enjoy it!Shannonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05495905816940119719noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1724983676382927825.post-14704060468858016652016-01-26T15:31:26.123-05:002016-01-26T15:31:26.123-05:00Oh no, I hate when synopsis have spoilers, so I tr...Oh no, I hate when synopsis have spoilers, so I try not to read them.
Good luck with your reading! My last reread was in 2010 and I've been itching to do another for awhile. The movies are nice, but I miss the finer details like Peeves and Professor Binns. And now I am trying to learn more about dear Severus.

I'm also reading The Raven Boys by Maggie Steifveiter. It's on my nook and I've been without my book book a few places, but had my nook. Seems pretty interesting so far.
~XyraXyra Silverleafhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12842466753806936933noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1724983676382927825.post-76159973436285469522016-01-26T11:08:16.439-05:002016-01-26T11:08:16.439-05:00Thanks, I kept seeing that term around, and my sis...Thanks, I kept seeing that term around, and my sister mentioned them a couple of times but her explanation left me scratching my head and thinking they were a brand. Ha ha. Yeah, I don't read the GR synopsis before I start reading a book I because I am one of those people who like to be totally in the dark other than genre, sub genre. I have never been spoiled by a synopsis after 20% before! One of my fave authors said I might be wrong and there might be another even bigger twist, but I doubt it. I had been asking her if I should email the author. :)La La in the Libraryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18253014225202985934noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1724983676382927825.post-89836052742241214182016-01-26T09:14:39.060-05:002016-01-26T09:14:39.060-05:00I hate when synopsis give away a big plot point or...I hate when synopsis give away a big plot point or make the book sound like something it isn't by talking up something that was only a small part of the book. I love the cover of Cogling and hope you're able to still enjoy it.
I'm in a cozy mystery reading mood lately and have been gobbling them up. You mentioned that you weren't sure what a cozy was in a comment on my blog. It's a sub-genre and tends to be a mystery that is low on graphic violence and not explicit. The detective is usually female and tends to be amateur though I've read several that are PIs or investigative journalists. The victim tends to be a really dis-likable character and they tend to have gimmicks like home restoration, cooking, or sewing and will frequently have tips or recipes in the back. Think updated Murder She Wrote in book form and you have the basic feel. Hope that helps!Katherine Phttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12126062556416434416noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1724983676382927825.post-4601536904787930832016-01-26T09:05:20.850-05:002016-01-26T09:05:20.850-05:00I am loving it. Which reminds me another book I took a break from was The Goldfinch, and I need to finish reading that one, too. :)La La in the Libraryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18253014225202985934noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1724983676382927825.post-70839382767677894852016-01-26T08:12:02.900-05:002016-01-26T08:12:02.900-05:00I need to pick up our buddy book again because yes...I need to pick up our buddy book again because yesterday I spent the whole day doing chores and then writing reviews! And I agree, it's a dense book that needs to be read slowly, hopefully it'll be one of those rewarding reads in the end!Pilihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05235628363081574896noreply@blogger.com
