This young author writes some of the best Adult Paranormal books around. She ties with Anne Rice on my extremely short list of vampire story authors I love. In fact, they are the only two authors on that list! Sorry Bram Stoker. I adore Lenny, her stuttering, electric blanket loving vampire MC in the BOOKS OF LOST KNOWLEDGE series.

THE FATE OF THE TEARLING
The first book in this trilogy, QUEEN OF THE TEARLING, was my top book of 2014, but the second installment, INVASION OF THE TEARLING, had a dystopic backstory mixed in with the fantasy and I did not like this.
