FURS-DAY FEATURE October 2019

OCTOBER 2019 EDITION

FURS-DAY FEATURE is hosted by my Dog Days of Summer Celebration co-host, Jolene, from JO'S BOOK BLOG. This is a random post feature, but mine will be monthly on the fourth Thursday of each month. It's a place to talk about books with animals in them, and other beastie things!

I recently picked this up as a freebie. It's about a woman who goes to a shelter to adopt a cat and comes home with an iguana instead. I had to have it! It's on Kindle Unlimited.

October 22nd was NATIONAL MAKE A DOG'S DAY. It encourages people to visit rescue shelters, volunteer, and adopt instead of shop. Many groups also used the day to spotlight adoption of special needs, abused, and senior dogs. Here is one of my favorite rescue stars from Instagram...

This is Bean. Someone threw her out of a car near some trash cans. She lives the good life now.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
