TOP TEN TUESDAY
NUMBER ONE HUNDRED AND FORTY-SIX

TELL ME TUESDAY is a floating feature, depending on your reading style, where you tell us what you read last, what you are reading now, what you will be reading next from your tbr pile, and why. I am curious why people read what they read, so tell me!

I love and adore these Cody companion books! They are like MG and children's chapter (or two) a night perfection. They have wonderful illustrations, too.

I love the storyline and the main character, Ginny. Her Forever Father is pretty cool, too. It is an extremely simplistic book. The writing isn't very writerly. I realize that the adults are speaking concisely and basically because of Ginny's autism, but when they are talking to each other it is the same. The adult to adult conversations need to be utilized to to give some more depth to the story. It has been slow moving too, but has picked up speed now just past the halfway point.
