THE SUNDAY POST #37

THE SUNDAY POST is a weekly wrap-up feature hosted by Kimba at the Caffinated Book Reviewer

It is a chance to recap the previous week, share news, showcase books and/or bookish things we have received, and tell about what is coming up on our blog in the next week. You can view the guidelines, HERE.

I tell you about SENTIMENTAL BULLS#*T taking a nosedive, and how I downloaded a free book from Pulseit.

Wednesday's WEIRD WORD was...

I did my COYER link-up post and listed eight books I definitely want to get to, but I hope I can manage double that number! Here's to cleaning out my Kindle. Although I am afraid it is going to take way more than 16 books to do that. Hehe.

Elizabeth, from SO LONG... & THANKS FOR ALL THE FISH, wanted me to read a zombie book so much that she sent me a signed paperback of FEED! She also sent me a sweet note. The two on the lower shelf are from her, also. She always seems to know when I need a blogging buddy boost.
♦♦♦
Elizabeth was the one who gave me the heads up about the free download of UNWIND on Pulseit, too.
♦♦♦
The first three Throne of Glass ebooks and the novella compilation were $1.99 on sale for one day, so I bought HEIR OF FIRE; the one I didn't have. The added narrations are still only $3.49-$3.99 and I am debating about getting them, also. I might get to them quicker as audiobooks.
♦♦♦
I bought the INKED ebook on sale.
It is still on sale.

In case you missed it, or want to see it again, this interview with Carrie Fisher, on Good Morning America, is brilliant! Her French Bulldog, Gary, is the perfect straight man.

The usual TMT and my link-up post for the 2016 ROCK MY TBR CHALLENGE.
And of course, THE SUNDAY POST! It is continuing to be a light schedule for the holidays.
Have a beautiful week!

  1. That's so awesome about the zombie book! What a great gift! That's too bad about Sentimental Bullsh#*t taking a nosedive. I hate when books that seem so promising just aren't. You got some great books! The Sarah J. Maas books are on my TBR and Inked looks really interesting. Have a great week!

  2. Dang, that's so nice that she sent you Feed! You've definitely found yourself a wonderful blogging buddy! I read Unwind a couple years ago for my book club in high school and I really enjoyed it, so I hope you do too.

    1. Yes, I have some really great blogging buddies after two years of wanddering around the blogosphere! I haven't started Unwind yet, but it saved to a bookmark so I know it won't go away if I don't get to out right away. :)

    1. Sebastian and I are going to wait until the Star Wars crazy wears down. I am not so into crowds anymore. He might go earlier with his friends. I am all excited for all the tbr clearing challenges. I really need them! :)

  4. I hope you enjoy FEED, It is so much bigger than I thought it would be!! I am looking forward to getting my Kindle clear but even 10 years of doing the COYER challenge would probably hardly make a dent!

    Have a good week!

  5. Good luck with Coyer, I wanted to attack the books I purchased in 2016 so decided not to participate due to the pricing limits. I am off to read your Tuesday post. Have an amazing week!!

    1. I don't think I have ever spent more than $5.00 for an ebook, and $4.95 is the most I have ever spent on an audiobook, so basically almost all of my Kindle library qualifies. Now if that were physical copies I would be sunk. Lol. :)

  6. Yay for COYER, it's starting soon and I want to read the Heir of Fire books too. Maybe early in the new year. Hope your weekend is a good one, and love that pic (the last one). :)
