TELL ME TUESDAY #406 - Last. Now. Next. October Reading Wrap-Up #Books #Reading #AmReading #iRead #BookBlog #BookReviews

TELL ME TUESDAY
LAST. NOW. NEXT.
NUMBER FOUR HUNDRED AND SIX
OCTOBER READING WRAP-UP

TELL ME TUESDAY is a floating feature, depending on your reading style, where you tell us what you read last, what you are reading now, what you will be reading next from your TBR pile, and why.
I am curious why people read what they read, so tell me!

ONE BOOK A WEEK
I'm still trying to keep my reading down to one book a week, but I'm nine books ahead at this point.

OCTOBER'S READING THEME
HALLOWEEN SEASON

ADULT FICTION
STANDALONE
HORROR
HISTORICAL FICTION
MEXICO
Published 2020 - Own Ebook
The author kept repeating the visual of a person's mouth being open in a scream, but there was no mouth. Like I have said before... things have to make sense or anyone can write a book. A mouth can't be "open in a scream" if there is no mouth.

MIDDLE GRADE/YOUNG ADULT
TRILOGY ONE
GRAPHIC NOVEL
PARANORMAL FANTASY
GHOSTS
FAMILY AND FRIENDS
GRIEF
Published 2018 - Hoopla Borrow
(re-read)
I have read this graphic novel every October since I first read the ARC in 2018. I still love it. I did not get the chance to re-read the sequel, like I had planned.

ADULT FICTION
ALEX STERN SERIES TWO
PARANORMAL FANTASY
DEMONS - WITCHES
Published January 2023 - Libby Borrow
I'm glad I decided to read this after not caring for Ninth House. I'm around thirty percent in, which is a lot because the book is very very long. I wanted to read it because I needed to know what happened to "Darlington" and was surprised how quickly the story grabbed me. I was expecting to skim read it. Ha ha. I'm still wincing about disconnected similes, though...

PARANORMAL
WITCHES

I had to set this aside when my Libby hold for Hell Bent came in. I can't tell you much about it because I was only a few pages in. I do like the authors writing style.

GOODREADS

MURDERBOT DIARIES SEVEN
SCIENCE FICTION
Publishes November 14th 2023 - Edelweiss ARC
This will be my first book for November Sci-Fi Month!
