TELL ME TUESDAY is a floating feature, depending on your reading style, where you tell us what you read last, what you are reading now, what you will be reading next from your tbr pile, and why. I am curious why people read what they read, so tell me!
2022 A YEAR OF BLACK AND NATIVE AMERICAN AUTHORS
ADULT FICTION
DUOLOGY BOOK ONE
SCIENCE FICTION
Published 1993 - Own Ebook
I'm still reading the same book as last week. This is my first book for my annual Dog Days of Summer Celebration reading challenge; although the dogs in the story are wild and dangerous. I had a difficult time finding books with dogs in them, or on the cover, by Black and/or Native American authors, so I had to go with the dangerous dogs. I was going to re-read Sounder, but was sad to see it was written by a White author and has also been called out for racial stereotyping. I am, however, delighted to be reading more Octavia E. Butler. I loved Kindred.
