TELL ME TUESDAY #138

LAST. NOW. NEXT.
NUMBER ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTY-EIGHT

TELL ME TUESDAY is a floating feature, depending on your reading style, where you tell us what you read last, what you are reading now, what you will be reading next from your tbr pile, and why. I am curious why people read what they read, so tell me!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
CHILDRENS?
STANDALONE
What is this book? I don't know! All I know is that it is charming and whimsical, and that I think adults will like it more than kids. Ha ha. It has wonderful illustrations, too.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
ADULT
SCIENCE FICTION
If you love SciFi I highly recommend this book. It has not only become my favorite so far this year, but probably my top for the last several years!

YOUNG ADULT
HISTORICAL FICTION
WORLD WAR II
FEMINISM
I am adding this now because I am less than an hour from being finished. It will most likely be five stars on Goodreads, 4.5 here on the blog. I am a review stop on the blog tour tomorrow. This was some good, straight-up storytelling and I loved it.

ADULT
CONTEMPORARY
ISSUE RELATED
I didn't think I was going to get this one, but it showed up a couple of days after the pub date. I wanted to read it because quite a few reviewers were giving it one and two stars, and trying to say that the story normalizes and promotes the issue the book is about. This just did not make sense to me. It doesn't do those things, by the way, it shows how detrimental it is. People can be really stupid.

YOUNG ADULT
SERIES
SCIENCE FICTION
I did not read Gray's Firebird series because I saw too many conflicting reviews and had too many ARCs to read when the first book released. I read the synopsis for this one and liked it, so I decided to request and was delighted it came through. If I like this one enough I might give the first Firebird book a try. It publishes in early April. I have a tour stop with review on April 5th. It has a giveaway, so keep an eye out for it.
What are you reading? Tell me!
