TELL ME TUESDAY #69

TELL ME TUESDAY is a feature that oozed from my post Twitter party fried brains. It is a floating feature (depending on your reading style), where you tell us what you are reading now, and why, and what you will be reading in the future from your tbr pile, and why. I am oh so curious why people read what they read. So tell me!

Joining us this week...

Shannon from REX ROBOT REVIEWS
Pili from IN LOVE WITH HANDMADE
Elizabeth from SO LONG... & THANKS FOR ALL THE FISH

Go have a peek at their latest grabs and tell them yours!

I finished my Ho-Ho-Ho Read-A-Thon Challenge. I wanted to read three, but I managed four. My thoughts? Newer Christmas stories are not for me. The only one above three stars was the classic A CHRISTMAS CAROL by Dickens, and I rated it five stars. I listened to the 99¢ added narration that you can get with the free Kindle Classics ebook. The narrator is Tim Curry and it was glorious.

Right away I started my reads for the anti-bullying readathon. These back-to-back, one week long read-a-thons are going to fry my brains!
I started out with TALES FROM THE BULLY BOX and A MONSTER CALLS on my TBR, and was recommended SENTIMENTAL BULLSH*T when I asked for suggestions of free and 99¢ books on my challenge post. I think that might be enough, but I will take more bargain suggestions just in case because TFtBB is short stories and AMC has a lot of illustrations.

What are you reading? Tell me!

    1. This will be my first Ness. I also had The Knife of Never Letting Go, but I used it for as trade. I have a feeling I will be buying a replacement. Lol. 😀

  3. Eeeep!! I love A Monster Calls and did you know it's going to be a movie next year?!?! AFJDLKSAD I hope they do it well. xD (Although isn't that the eternal bookworms' cry?) I'm reading Falling Kingdoms by Morgan Rhodes and....am not really impressed. -_- And I'm also listening to an audio of Jackaby and am even LESS impressed. hahaha. But I just had two 5-star reads in a row this week, so I guess my expectations are high!! :P

    1. A movie? Wicked! I didn't look into Falling Kingdoms because it was super hyped on Twitter by the "blitzing crowd", and I usually don't make out well with those books. I have had the ARC of Jackaby FOREVER and I even have the eBook that I bought for $1.99 last January during the after Christmas sales. I am still planning on reading it though.
