WEDNESDAY'S WEIRD WORD
HO-HO-HO READATHON TBR POST
I have read two books and started my A Christmas Carol audiobook today.
♦♦♦
I don't usually put my book mail on here, but I won a fall reading sweepstakes from the Penguin Publishing newsletter and received 16 books. Included in this mega-pile are: The Rose Society, Blood and Salt, M Train (by Patty Smith one of my musical inspirations), The Witch of Lime Street, Two Years Eight Months and Twenty-Eight Nights by Salman Rudshdie, and Lost Ocean a high end adult coloring book!
This image is from WINK BOOK'S post about this book because as you can see from the above stack photo... KINDLE CAMERAS SUCK SO BADLY THEY CAN CREATE BLACKHOLES!

I am hoping some of us can get together and plan posts for that day and a live chat somewhere. Any ideas?
Anyone else have a problem with this... unless they give the profits to foodbanks and hunger outreach charities. Like that's going to happen, right?

THE SUNDAY POST
If you are interested in joining the anti-bullying readathon...
Have a beautiful week!
Oooh, what a fantastic stack and win! So happy that you won! Finally some good karma your way!! *happy dance*
ReplyDeleteThe anti-bullying readathon is such a good idea! I wish it could be added and done in schools too!
Btw, this week I am joining you on Tell Me Tuesdays finally again!
I actually sort of cried after I opened the boxes of books. Ha! Yay for Tell Me Tuesdaying! I am so happy about that, Pili!
DeleteYou're doing better than me on the readathon! But I'm plugging away. Nice stack of books- some good reads there I bet.
ReplyDeleteI thought I was only going to get one Christmas book read, so it wasn't too difficult to surpass my expectations! I have been wanting to read M Train, but was waiting for an ebook sale. Having it in hardcover is a wish come true.
DeleteI am so jealous, what a fantastic prize well done you and have an amazing time reading them. I love Johanna Basford's colouring books, still to get this one but I'm sure it is amazing!!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!!
I was so impatient to color before taking a trip to the craft/art store, that I picked up a box of colored pencils at the dollar store and you know what? They turned out to be pretty good! 🎨
DeleteLost Ocean looks fun and it is Rawky here today! Yes, world peace for the holidays!
ReplyDeleteIt has been rawky around here, too! Hot chocolate weather. 🍵
DeleteI have one of the coloring books by the same artist, Enchanted Forest I think it's called. It's really pretty. And way to go winning that prize! That's really awesome
ReplyDeleteThis one is beautiful, too. It is do intricate I don't need another for a while. 😀
