WEDNESDAY WHATNOT - Bookish Bits & Bobs and More! #BookGiveaways

WEDNESDAY WHATNOT

Life has been weird lately and keeping on a blogging schedule has been difficult, so I have created Wednesday Whatnot for those weeks I can't manage to do regular posts.

I didn't have time to get to a Tell Me Tuesday last week or this week, so I'll be posting my June reading wrap-up next Tuesday. I have also been having issues with my Kindle Fire and Blogger, so that has hindered me too.

This book is fantastic! If you are looking for a title to read for Black History Month next year, look no further! It's more than just a double biography of Zora Neale Hurston and Langston Hughes; it's also an interesting historical account of the Harlem Renaissance, Harlem, and Black American history in general. The writing is full of life. I'm listening to an audiobook from Hoopla and the narrator is wonderful.

Even though Facebook has fixed the bug that wasn't allowing me to post photos to the albums on my Toadstone & Bumbershoot page, I have decided to continue to regularly update the witchery cookery and magical living Pinterest boards. It has driven more traffic to my T&B posts here on the blog. They have always been my most visted posts, but the extra Pinterest hits have helped keep my views around 7,000 even when only posting once a week.

The next two T&B posts here on the blog will be quite interesting! One is under a new feature, Cauldron Conversations, where I'll be explaining what immersion living is and that no, I'm not a real witch... I just play one on social media. Another is a special edition about throwing a witches' game night; I'm really proud of this one because it includes some original photographs and recipes from me!

HURRY, THIS ONE ENDS JULY TENTH

What has everyone been up to?
