NOVEMBER READING WRAP-UP

TELL ME TUESDAY is a floating feature, depending on your reading style, where you tell us what you read last, what you are reading now, what you will be reading next from your tbr pile, and why. I am curious why people read what they read, so tell me!

This was supposed to be my last Sci-Fi Month book. I was planning on starting this earlier, but that was when I thought Network Effect was another novella. I didn't finish in time for it to count for Sci-Fi Month. Oh well. I started re-reading the Dune books three years ago, one every November for Sci-Fi Month. This will be my third time reading it.

I am genuinely sad this series is finished. It's been such a bright spot in my reading the last two years. I'm happy they followed them through some of their post graduation life.

NOVEMBER READING THEME
Publishes April 5th 2022 - Edelweiss ARC
This book is being marketed as MG, but the MC is fourteen, and going into ninth grade. Does the author/publisher not realize Middle Grade is for elementary school children? There's swearing, sexual tension, and teenage boys wanting to fight each other, buy beer and, "...get some action." Good grief. It's also being marketed as BIPOC representation and neither the MC nor author are Black or Native American; they are East Indian. The "I" in BIPOC stands for "indigenous," not Indian.

Not really an ARC because we didn't get them until well into November. I am over the moon excited for this, The Wicked Years, spin-off series!
