I still like this story and was surprised to find others think it is boring. Ha ha. It's not, in all honesty, scary, but it's atmospheric and I love that.

This had cheesy humor in the first half, and cheesy overly dramatic introspection and charity of the heart in the back-half, but it wasn't entirely unenjoyable. It wasn't scary or spooky at all, which was a bit disappointing.

I was surprised to find out this was Nonfiction.

I am really irritated and annoyed with Blogger, so I'm just going to tell you that right now I'm reading THE ADVENTURES OF DOCTOR DOOLITTLE for my October Newbery winner book, and I was taken aback that it has the N-word in it! Next I am going to be reading FRANKENSTEIN.
