TELL ME TUESDAY
NUMBER FOUR HUNDRED AND THIRTY-TWO
LAST. NOW. NEXT.
JANUARY READING WRAP-UP
TELL ME TUESDAY is a floating feature where I tell you what I read last, what I'm reading now, and what I will be reading next.
In 2026 my reading has been set free from my one book a week rule. I also only have to read one book for my monthly theme instead of two, except for the ten days of Carib-A-Thon and Sci-Fi Month. I am also try to read a Nonfiction that matches the theme, so I guess in reality that's two themed books a month. There's also my A Year of Brontë theme, and my Little House series buddy re-read with Jolene, who used to blog at Jo's Book Blog, to keep in mind. It's a good thing I am letting myself read as much as I want now!

Jolene, who used to blog at Jo's Book Blog, and I are going to be buddy
re-reading the Little House series. This is actually book two, but it takes place before Little House in the Big Woods, so we decided to read it first.
•
Jolene gifted a copy of Pioneer Girl to me for Yule, so I will be reading it as we go along as well.
This is Jolene's book overlooking the prairie towards the Ingalls farmstead. She has visited all of the locations.

The opening scene in Wuthering Heights was during a blizzard and there were other snowy scenes throughout the book.
What are you reading? Tell me!

I adored the Little House books when I was a kid (they were the only books I loved that weren't mysteries until I discovered L.M. Montgomery) and I got a copy of Pioneer Girl years ago but haven't read it. I need to read it. I'm looking forward to seeing your thoughts on your Little House reread. I read like crazy in January but February has been a little slower. We've had some crazy weather which has caused my migraines to flare up so I just haven't been in a reading mood except for my audio. I think it's starting to come back though.
ReplyDeleteAll of those books are new to me.
ReplyDeleteSomehow I managed to read 8 books in January. But I feel like reading is very slow at the moment. I am reading a fantasty title "The Grace of Kings" and I started that Donald Sassoon 1200+ page book "The Culture of the Europeans"... and from the library I picked up Mexican Gothic.
