TELL ME TUESDAY #137

LAST. NOW. NEXT.
NUMBER ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTY-SEVEN

TELL ME TUESDAY is a floating feature, depending on your reading style, where you tell us what you read last, what you are reading now, what you will be reading next from your tbr pile, and why. I am curious why people read what they read, so tell me!

ISSUE RELATED

I was thrilled to get this ARC because I adored the author's first book, but one of the elements of the story was so highly unlikely that it skewed the entire story for me. There were other readers who felt the same way, so I didn't feel like an outright blacksheep.

⭐⭐⭐
MIDDLE GRADE
SERIES
DIVERSITY
HISTORICAL FICTION
This was for my Newbery Award Winners Challenge. I think EVERYONE should read this book. It would be 3.5 stars here on the blog. There were two or three pretty long parts about land ownership. mortgages, and taxes that I felt would be a snore bore to Middle Grade age readers.

CHILDRENS?
STANDALONE
What is this book? I don't know! All I know is that it is charming and whimsical, and that I think adults will like it more than kids. Ha ha. It has wonderful illustrations, too.

ADULT
SCIENCE FICTION
I love and adore this story! I am 75% finished and I dare say that it is probably going to be my new favorite book for this year.

YOUNG ADULT
HISTORICAL FICTION
WORLD WAR II
FEMINISM
Yeah, I know, I know... it's about WWII and that is far far away from my thing, but this is an important story to have told, and I am also on the blog tour with a review. It publishes March 28th.
