TELL ME TUESDAY #30

I WAS APPROVED FOR INVASION OF THE TEARLING!!!!

LET'S DANCE

TELL ME TUESDAY is a feature that oozed from the fried brains of myself and my best blogging buddy, after a mind twisting Armchair BEA Twitter party.  It is a weekly, or bi-weekly feature (depending on your reading style), where you tell us what you are reading now, and why, and what you will be reading in the future from your tbr pile, and why. I am oh so curious why people read what they read. So tell us!!

Also checkout my faithful feature follower PILI from In Love With Handmade and our new frolicksome follower, ELIZABETH from So Long... & Thanks for All the Fish.

UPDATE:
Follower three has joined us...

*when we get ten feature followers I will get a linky*

I finished The Raven Boys for my guest review this month. Amanda is giving me until the 23rd, phew.

My next read is also a review book. This one is an ARC from Month9 Books. Lucas Mackenzie and the London Midnight Ghost Show. It's publication is slated for Febrary 24th.

I have wanted to read this book since I first saw the cover a few months ago. It spoke to me. Of course the word "ghost" in the title piqued my curiousity, too. I do love my ghost stories.

AND
OF COURSE
I am going to be starting INVASION OF THE TEARLING! I want to devour it...

 NOPE
Change of plan.

The sequel to Gates of Thread and Stone, THE INFINITE, was a Read Now on Netgalley!

The fist book, GATES OF THREAD AND STONE, still is!!!!

Go, run, fast, now!

I am reading THE INFINITE, and jumping for joy!

What are you up to?

  1. I will be reading The Infinite myself so VERY SOON! Probably once I'm done with all the books I am currently reading!

I was rejected for Invasion of the Tearling once again, so I'll be preordering it as soon as my book ban lifts and I'm moved to the new place!

  2. Aww, Pili, that rots. Boo hiss. That preferred country thing is a beast. Hopefully having The Infinite to read will take the sting away. I have missed Kai and Avan so much. :)

  3. I must read these books! Why haven't I yet?
This is a great link up, would you mind if I joined in next week? Is there something I have to do?

    1. The Gates of Thread and Stone was my top YA book last year. I like it because it is a hybrid of Fantasy and Dystopian. Yes! Please join us! All you have to do is either leave the link in the comments and I will add it above, as soon as I see it, or tweet it and tag me. Right now all I do is add it in my post, but as soon as we have ten followers I will get a Linky thing. :)

  5. Yay! Thanks for the shout out! I love the idea of this meme. :D I'm very interested to hear your thoughts on Invasion! I just finished Queen of the Tearling not too long ago and liked it quite a bit. Although, I will say that I wish it was more of a straight up fantasy than in-the-future-America-is-dead-and-we're-in-a-new-"world" type situation. I wasn't keen on the flashbacks to the crossing. So I will be anxious to hear that plays into the sequel. Enjoy!!

    1. I will definitely have an in-depth review of Invasion. In fact, a big review of Queen of the Tearling should appear here on the blog, soon. It seems like I have been working on it forever. A big welcome to the feature. I will be doing shoutouts until we get ten followers and then I will get a linky thing. :)

    1. You lucky duck! Everyone I know has been in search of the holy grail that is ACOTAR! I haven't Maased myself yet, so I didn't join that crusade myself, so I can say with a truthful heart that I am 100% elated that you got a copy, and will *twirl* while you *flail*. :)

    1. Yes! You really need to get back to it. I liked all of the geography and physics info that she was giving in the beginning of the book, but a lot of readers didn't care for it I have found out. There isn't so much of it in the second half of the book, and I guess none at all in the next two books. The Raven King comes out in September and I am excited about that.
