Another time I was driving on the freeway with my best friend and suddenly all the cars stopped. Behind me there was a huge 18 wheeler that had been following me closely. He was trying to stop his truck so much that his tires were smoking. He managed to stop with about a foot between us. I thought we were going to die. The last scary thing that happened to me was I was 12 and having a sleep over. My friend's mom was having a hard time finding our street, so we walked up to the intersection to flag her down. This guys comes out from around this bush and starts talking to us. He sounds drunk or high. He starts saying "c'mere girls. Come over here for a second", so we all ran back home to my house. The police came, but he was gone. I'm so glad Sebastian wasn't hurt worse by the dog. I can imagine the 10 days were the slowest 10 days ever. Perhaps you should stay inside away from bears and water and violent bar owners! I think you've got enough terrifying moments for about 6 people.Katherine Phttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12126062556416434416noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1724983676382927825.post-73853109425564906672016-02-26T12:18:25.938-05:002016-02-26T12:18:25.938-05:00I had always known we had foxes in one area where ...I had always known we had foxes in one area where we lived and I wanted do badly to see one, do one day when I was throwing veggie scraps into our weedlot for the wild rabbits I saw what I thought was fox and I was all excited. There was another group of people there, so when a dog went by, we assumed it was theirs. They asked us about our dog and we suddenly realized- that had been a coyote, not anyone's dog! Luckily I didn't try to pet it!
Yours were so much scarier- particularly with your son! That is why when I see those parents who put tags on their kids saying, "I'm not lost, I'm free-range," I get mad because I am lucky to be alive. Omg.

When I was 7 my dad and brother went sailing and there was a massive cyclone and their boat got torn up and honestly, if it hadn't been for a passing boat, they would've both died. Back then, I didn't even really understand what was going on? (I was not the smartest 7yo -_-). But now it gives me absolute GOOSEBUMPS to think of how close it was.

And I've had quite a few near-car-accident-misses that got my heart going. xD I live in a place where noooo one drives safely. aGRGH.

But anyway.
