I don't know why that mob automatically thought saying the girl had to be lifted from her house by a crane was being malicious. It is about a girl who had to be lifted from her house by a crane, how else are you going to say it? The story is based on a person the author knew and that person wanted her story told. Now those girls think every time they don't like something they can mob and get their way. This has made book bloggers look very bad.La La in the Libraryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18253014225202985934noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1724983676382927825.post-19129251944167886212016-02-09T01:59:57.103-05:002016-02-09T01:59:57.103-05:00Oy. I mean I took it as that was the protagonists' view point. That she felt she was rejoining the human race. But if the girl on twitter was so traumatized by it, then I think perhaps she shouldn't be on twitter and perhaps should not read YA and should also probably seek help so SHE can rejoin the human race. I know triggers are real. There are some subject matters that make me VERY uncomfortable, but if reading that synopsis causes trauma then I think your therapy work is not done.
Shannonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05495905816940119719noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1724983676382927825.post-41699420167059486022016-02-08T22:35:59.631-05:002016-02-08T22:35:59.631-05:00Yes, that movie is very sad and even though I have...Yes, that movie is very sad and even though I have seen it about 15 times I still bawl my eyes out!La La in the Libraryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18253014225202985934noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1724983676382927825.post-59379832838831729342016-02-08T22:30:09.605-05:002016-02-08T22:30:09.605-05:00Happy Chinese New Year! Don't let it bother you, the Sunday Post is your place to say what you want- I think it's a pretty tight community and I like that about it.

Oh my I must have missed your post- Silent Running??? I loved that movie. Wasn't Huey Duey and Louis the little robot guys? Loved them- it was sad too if I remember. That movie affected me when I saw it... I don't want to be strung up on Twitter. Funny how they knew it was them being referenced when no names or specifics were mentioned. I didn't even know any of them looked at my blog.La La in the Libraryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18253014225202985934noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1724983676382927825.post-64283562400534724552016-02-08T15:51:48.258-05:002016-02-08T15:51:48.258-05:00Oh wow am I glad I don't spend that much time ...Oh wow am I glad I don't spend that much time on Twitter. All that drama is definitely nothing I want to be involved in. I don't understand why people can't just like or dislike a book without it becoming an issue and as for the summary of that book being such a big deal all you have do is not read the book! There are certain topics that I don't enjoy and I just don't read them. I'm not surprised to hear that it's the usual culprits! Have a great week!Katherine Phttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12126062556416434416noreply@blogger.com
